| E3 Show Attendees Crave More Booth Models |
Wednesday, 06 April 2011 16:41
| Among the most extravagant displays, noticeably missing from recent E3 shows has been the number of “booth babes,” termed by the attendees who love to view them for their attractive looks, and to converse with them for the thrill of speaking to such personality-packed beauties. But many attendees are pleasantly surprised to find out that these models are so knowledgeable about the gaming business.
Indeed, Twitterers remarked often that they were disappointed that there were too few booth models at previous years’ shows, a testament to how valuable these professional models are to generating and stimulating interest in the exhibits they work.
This year’s E3 Expo will occur at the Los Angeles Convention Center, June 7-9, 2011 (1201 South Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, California 90015, Phone: 213-741-1151). Known as the world's premiere trade show for computer and video games and related products (such as interactive games for video game consoles, handheld devices, personal computers, and Internet technologies), the point of the show is for software developers to connect with buyers and retailers, programmers, distributors, entertainment industry representatives, financiers and venture capitalists, manufacturers, resellers, researchers, educators, financial and industry analysts, and worldwide electronic and print media publishers. Many innovative products in one industry can overlap into uses in other industries such as outdoor sporting goods clothing and military uses, aerospace technology and global positioning systems.
Over 80 countries were represented at last year’s show, and even with a tough economic climate this year expects even more people to attend. With declining revenues in many industries, some trade show exhibitors have made decisions that continue to bolster awareness, and support sales often generated from the experiences while at the E3 show—interactions that have lasting effects on a person’s psyche and long-lasting memories of enjoyment. That’s right, the booth girls.
The exhibits and presentations by knowledgeable and professional trade show models are a key ingredient for demonstrating products at conventions and events like the E3 show. Not only do the models get the attention of the industry professionals, they maintain their interest through engaging dialog. Attendees are also having a good time and enjoy themselves, making the entire experience more advantageous to increasing the likelihood of better relationships and more sales. It’s not always what product has the most vivid image as it is for the gaming experience to be the most enjoyable. Successful exhibits may have crowd gatherers and street teams to coral the attendees to see and hear a demonstration of the latest 3-D device, for example. A presenter can then begin a demonstration and explanation of the gaming item, while booth staffers are busily qualifying prospects and gathering names and contact information for sales personnel to follow through with and complete the steps to increasing sales.
The skills developed and polished from the talent booked through Preferred Promotional Model and Talent Group (PPG) through the experience that exhibitors demand and attendees appreciate is evident. PPG models, emcees, presenters, and actors perfectly accommodate the needs of E3 attendees and exhibitors.

| Actors and Presenters Make Great Infomercial Sales People |
Monday, 06 December 2010 10:41
| Everyone knows how both female and male tradeshow models add class and energy along with their charisma and attractiveness. But also emerging quickly is the added value that so many of the talented models possess for infomercials—those commercials where the interviewer speaks with seemingly innocent people about a product that is being sold on television or the Internet. Generally speaking, all people on commercials are likely actors, and some of the very best are those who have honed their skills by presenting various products and services at tradeshows, exhibits, and events for years.
The Preferred Promotional Model and Talent Group (PPG) has a huge variety of models, actors, presenters, demonstrators, hostesses, crowd gatherers and specialty acts to make infomercials, commercials, and Web site appearances, whether as an unknown or impersonating a celebrity, and some are adding this function to their repertoire of tradeshows, conventions, and other event presentations; corporate videos, sales videos, tradeshow marketing, tradeshow videos and more. The uses are almost endless, especially now with the advantages of Web sites such as YouTube where the recorded messages can sell 24 hours a day, every day.
Presenters, when you think about it, are actors in the same way that actors are presenters; both are conveying a message to persuade the audience to take a desired action, or to generate a certain emotion that will evoke an action or thought. PPG can provide clients with professional male and female models and actors of many ages and ethnicities for conventions, printed literature, commercials, television, film and fashion shows, to name a few.
From memorizing a few key promotional lines to performing a full presentation, PPG’s models, presenters, and actors do it all, and all are experienced and ready to help your infomercial or commercial be a success. From their experience working with all kinds of noise and sound from many tradeshows and conventions, clients will notice their concentration and seemingly effortless ability to perform without distraction, with precision and expertise.
“Our models and presenters are on time and ready to work! That’s something we take a lot of pride in,” says Sondra Irwin, principal of PPG. “Most are multi-talented and work comfortably with others as well as alone, and are able to quickly adapt to circumstances as they change. Many are absolutely brilliant,” she adds.
PPG knows from 19 years in the business that presenters and actors are being called for opportunities across the country for voice-over commercials, background personnel in major feature films, as print-advertising models, promotional models, athletic models, parts demonstrators, TV commercial actors, reality show actors, infomercial actors, musicians who want to be part of a musical or commercial, comedians that will be in comic-specific ads where timing is important, as well as dancers for musicals, commercials, and music videos.
Often times the casting is done at specific locations and can be anywhere in the world with all types of ethnicities and languages used. Clients in need of top infomercial talent, actors, and presenters are encouraged to contact PPG for available professionals.
PPG (http://promotalent.com) is an 18-year provider of top quality professional models, presenters, actors, tradeshow models, exhibit staff, booth attendants, crowd gatherers, hostesses, and performers for events, tradeshows, movie galas, conventions, commercials, and sporting events. |

| Talent agencies are booking experienced professionals to prepare for intensive information exhibits and orchestrating specific themes in advance of the industry’s most important tradeshow
Known as the world’s largest consumer technology tradeshow, the international Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 6, 2011 will once again be bustling with activity. Manufacturers of next-generation appliances and mobile devices that can deliver music, movies, television, books and magazines while traveling or in the home will be competing for global market share.
For the latest advances of in-vehicle electronics including both vehicle OEMs and the aftermarket, industry professionals interested in the latest in-vehicle technology trends for 2011 and beyond can see it all at the 2011 CES. Many exhibits are lining up professional crowd gatherers, hostesses, booth personnel, presenters, demonstrators and spokesmodels to generate sales and interest in the many booths that will be full of new and exciting electronics gadgets and breakthroughs in technologies.
The early bookings of experienced talent are rehearsing and planning their oral deliveries for major innovations and achievements in the digital and social media landscape, as well as 3D and display technologies. Whether reciting planned presentation content or reading from a teleprompter or being supplied information via an earphone recording, these specialists engage crowds and provide consistent messages to attendees as if they each owned the companies they are hired to work for.
Why? Because they are effective at producing results! More than just attractive men and women, these professional tradeshow models and talent are key to securing the types of customers that exhibitors want to spend time with; genuinely intrigued persons that want to know more about specific ways to sell more of what the masses want for their homes and businesses. And the models leave a lasting impression of how the attendees were treated and respected, as well as the professionalism that helps to secure a brand’s image.
